Project Description:
SPT Architecture was selected by USD 479 Crest (located in Colony, KS) to provide pre-bond services to prepare for a proposed $6.0 million bond campaign. The bond passed in November 2023. The bond projects feature additions and improvements to update the functionality and efficiency of the school with updates throughout, including areas that haven’t been upgraded since the school was built in 1959. The improvement include:
- Cafeteria / Kitchen Expansion and Renovations
- New Secure Main Entry Addition
- New Classroom Addition (2 Rooms) and Storm Shelter Addition (Shelter available to community)
- Classroom & Locker Room Renovations
- Parking & Entry Drive Improvements
- Building Upgrades & Improvements
- New Auxiliary Gymnasium Addition
