Project Description:

The new 91,575 SF building for Forming and Machining Industries, Inc. supports FMI’s growing aerospace component manufacturing. The 82,572 SF main floor includes a two-story, aluminum storefront entry vestibule that opens to executive offices and a training room. Production areas include two shops, waterjet and press rooms plus seven, oversized hydraulic doors allowing for finished product transport. The press room features a recessed, epoxy-lined foundation that, along with the building’s 39’ height, accommodates FMI’s 100-ton press machine. The mezzanine level includes training and break rooms. The interior charcoal and black color scheme is accentuated with red accents matching FMI’s logo color as well as decorative acrylic panels at the conference and training rooms. The building is constructed of pre-cast tilt-up concrete panels with insulated metal walls panels.
