Project Description:
The new First Tee – Greater Wichita organization is expanding their outreach with a new $1.8 million Youth Learning Center at MacDonald Golf Course. This facility is designed to support their mission to empower local youth through character-building programs that are integrated through the game of golf.
This 6,000 SF facility features four hitting bays, a learning library for homework and tutoring activities, administrative offices, and a staff break room. The lobby opens to a spacious multipurpose room which features a putting green and large, operable overhead doors which allow for plentiful natural lighting, and can be opened as weather allows to extend the space to the outdoors. The room will be available to host community events and mentoring sessions. First Tee is an international non-profit organization.
