USD 105 Rawlins County
$29.9 Million School Bond Projects
SPT Architecture is thrilled to share the news that the USD 105-Rawlins County Public Schools $29.9 million bond and the Rawlins Co. 1 Cent Sales Tax passed last night! This is a huge win for the Rawlins County community. Located in Atwood, their 100-year-old high school was severely damaged by fire last summer. The district then had to scramble to plan and move teachers and students into portable classrooms for the 23-24 school year. The school’s fire damage was beyond repair, with only the existing gym deemed salvageable.
The district then had to begin planning for the school replacement. When SPT was selected in December 2023, we hit the ground running. It has truly been our pleasure to work with the USD 105 superintendent, BOE, principals, teachers, staff, and the community volunteers to design a new, modern school facility that will provide students and teachers with an optimal learning environment for a 21st century education. These conceptual renderings and floor plans were included in several promotional tools that we developed to provide the community with complete and accurate information on the bond project and the election.
The SPT project team includes Greg Tice, Gina Hueske Loomis, Kevin Winterscheidt, James Regier, Lois Prochaska-Frack, David Wells, Jadyn Landreth, Conner Tice, Sarah Kohman, Kyle Heier, Ashely von Mosch, Barb Gabbert and Jessica Kretchmer.
